After selling hundreds of Vasilopita coins last year, we wanted to find something extra special for this year’s collection!
This year, we have sourced the most special Vasilopita coins all the way from Greece! Beautifully featuring the Greek New Year’s wish Καλή Χρονιά (Kali Xronia), meaning Happy New Year.
The Vasilopita coin is a small good-luck coin traditionally hidden inside the Greek New Year’s cake, known as the Vasilopita. This beautiful custom is celebrated on New Year’s Day in honour of Saint Basil.
Before the cake is cut, a coin is hidden inside. Families gather, share a blessing, and cut a slice for each member. Whoever discovers the coin in their slice is believed to receive good luck, blessings and prosperity for the year ahead.
✨ A cherished Greek tradition that brings family together and welcomes the new year with hope, love and joy.
✨ Beautifully featuring Καλή Χρονιά in Greek.
✨ Proudly produced in Greece.
✨ Limited quantities available.
I’ll be personally bringing these beautiful coins back from Greece end of October!
PRE-ORDER yours now to avoid missing out, as we have only secured a limited number for this year’s collection.
